Three methods to improve the performance of plastic beer packaging

developing low-cost, high-performance plastic beer bottles is a hot spot in the field of beer packaging at this stage in life. At present, there are three main methods to improve the performance of plastic beer packaging bottles:

 first, multi-layer treatment. The general multi-layer bottle has three layers. From a technical point of view, it is also feasible to make a bottle with nine layers. However, multi-layer bottles have brought troubles to machine manufacturing and recycling, so they are generally not suitable for recycling bottles to enhance their ability to deal with trade protectionism. The barrier layer of polyamide material produced by injection molding in turn can be used, such as the three-layer plastic bottle blank containing 5-12% polyamide; Japan has developed a five layer plastic beer bottle. The inner and outer layers are pet, and the middle three layers are copolyester layer, oxygen barrier layer and UV barrier layer in turn

 II. Lattice treatment. In order to increase the transparency of the bottle body, the stability of the plastic material and improve the heat resistance of the carpet filter with full coverage and no dead corners, the plastic material can be partially crystallized through pressure and heat treatment during the bottle making process

 III. coating treatment. The inner coating technology uses hydrogen and oxygen electrolysis to coat a thin carbon layer on the inside of PET bottles. Its advantage is that the permeability is reduced by about 81%, and the appearance of the bottles is bright and beautiful. However, as it is an internal coating, other substances should be considered to dissolve in food to avoid affecting the flavor and taste of food. For example, different coating processes studied by Coca Cola company for many years have been adopted by beer manufacturers
